2. Overview
Timeslotter is an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that helps you organize recurring events. The data you enter (modules, timeslots, participants, absences, performance ratings and notes) is stored on your device and – if you are signed in to iCloud – synced across your devices via your iCloud. There is no separate user account with the app provider, and by default none of your content is transmitted to a provider server.
3. Sync via iCloud
If you use iCloud, the app stores its data in your iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This processing is carried out by Apple under your iCloud agreement; the app provider has no access to this data. For details see Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable iCloud syncing in the system settings or the app settings.
4. Calendar access
Optionally, Timeslotter writes the computed occurrences into your device calendar. This access only happens after your explicit consent (system prompt) and serves solely to show your events in your calendar app. No data is transmitted to the provider for this purpose.
5. Optional data exchange with a web server
Timeslotter maybe offers an optional feature, disabled by default, that lets
participants view their own information (module, timeslots, performance, absences) in a browser via a
link or QR code. If you enable this feature, the app transmits the required – partly
personal – data to the web server configured in the settings (default address
app.timeslotter.de, freely configurable).
If you operate this web server yourself or share personal data of third parties (your participants), you are responsible for the lawfulness of that processing (e.g. legal basis, informing the data subjects). This feature should only be used with appropriate authorization.
6. This website
When you access this website, the hosting server processes technically necessary data in server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type). The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising and embeds no third-party resources (the Bootstrap framework is also served locally).
7. Your rights
Within the limits of the law you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, use the contact details above.
8. Changes
This policy will be updated as changes to the app or the legal situation require. Last updated: 2026.
