Timeslot details

Timeslot

This screen shows a single timeslot of the selected module along with its participants. The title at the top carries the name of the timeslot. Unlike the participants overview of the module screen, which lists all participants of the whole module across every timeslot, this is exclusively about the participants of this one timeslot.

Participants

The list holds all participants of this timeslot. Following the name — as soon as performances exist — the overall performance value appears in parentheses (averaged over all of the participant's attendances), followed by the thumb symbols for rating and, on the far right, the eye symbol for attendance. Tapping a row opens the corresponding participant detail. If there are no participants yet, the hint “No participants yet" appears instead.

Adding participants

The Add button (plus symbol) at the top right appends a new row with the placeholder name “New participant" to the end of the list. You edit the name directly in the text field in edit mode.

If a name list exists for the module — it is loaded optionally in the module screen via Import names from a CSV or text file — you can conveniently pick the name from it instead of typing it: in edit mode a person symbol with a checkmark appears in the row; tapping it opens a selection sheet with all names still available, grouped alphabetically by letter and with a letter bar on the right edge for quick jumping. Names already assigned to a timeslot of the module no longer appear there, so that no one is scheduled twice. If no name list exists for the module, this symbol is omitted; then only typing the name by hand remains.

Presence and absence

The eye symbol on the right of each row cycles the attendance for the next module date: present (simple outline) → unexcused absent (red, struck-through eye) → excused absent (green, struck-through eye) → present again. Absent participants are shown with a gray name, and their thumb symbols are omitted. If you set the absence on a day without a module date, it applies to the next matching date; if the day lies beyond the last module date, the app asks for confirmation and names the affected date.

If unexcused absences accumulate, the row is highlighted in color — with the same warning and error background colors as in the module: from the warning threshold the row is tinted orange, from the error threshold red. Counted are the distinct days on which the participant or their timeslot was unexcused absent; identical days from both sources count only once. Excused absences (green) do not color the row. The thresholds apply module-wide and are set in Settings under Rules; there the coloring can also be turned off entirely.

Absence log

Below the participants list, the Absences section appears with the days on which the timeslot was cancelled, as soon as such entries exist. Each row shows the date, the name, and the excused symbol on the right. In edit mode you can change the date via a date picker, toggle the excused status via the symbol, and delete an entry by swiping or via the Edit button. If cancellation of the timeslot and absence of the participants are coupled in the Rules, changes to an entry here apply jointly to all participants of that date — so you move or excuse a shared absence in a single step.

Giving a performance

The two thumb symbols in each row rate the performance on the day it last took place: thumbs up (green) for a positive, thumbs down (red) for a negative performance. Tapping logs the rating, tapping again removes it; the opposite rating for the same day gives way to the new one. A gray outline means “not rated yet," the filled, colored variant means “set." If the rating day lies in the past or before the first module date, the app asks before logging and names the affected date. The overall performance value in parentheses after the name summarizes all ratings.

To give all participants the same performance in one go, use the menu (three-dot-in-a-circle symbol) on the right of the Participants heading: All positive performance or All negative performance. If everyone already carries that rating, the same menu entry removes it again from all.

Moving a participant

In edit mode a person-with-clock symbol appears in the row. It opens a sheet with all timeslots grouped by module. Tapping a target timeslot moves the participant there immediately and closes the sheet. The target can also be a timeslot of another module; the current timeslot is excluded from the selection.

Edit mode

The Edit button at the top right appears as soon as participants or absence entries exist. In it you rename participants in the text field, pick names from the name list, move participants to other timeslots, reorder the list via the handle on the right, and delete rows. Outside edit mode you can also delete a row by swiping left.

If you delete too much by mistake, you undo it via the More menu (three-dot symbol) at the top right with Undelete participant: the most recently deleted participant returns — together with their absences and performances — to their original position, or to the end if that position no longer exists. The entry appears only as long as there are deleted participants to restore.

Timeslot notes

Via the More menu (three-dot symbol) at the top right, Timeslot notes opens a notes area that belongs to this timeslot alone. The entry is always available, so the first note can be created here too. These timeslot notes are to be distinguished from the module notes: module notes (in the module screen) record what concerns the entire module across all timeslots, whereas timeslot notes concern only this one timeslot. If there are notes for this timeslot, the module screen indicates this with a note symbol in its row.
